How to Make an Online Reservation for Visiting the Korean Embassy
To apply for a Certificate of Family Relationship Registration Details, you must make a reservation through the Korean Embassy's online reservation system, "Minwon 24 Tokyo", which operates on a strict reservation-only basis.

Consular Services 24 (g4k.go.kr)
365 Overseas Korean Portal
Click "Reservation to Visit a Diplomatic Mission".
Click "Make a Reservation".
Log in via Email/SMS.
Login Procedure:
Click [Required] Agreement for all terms and conditions of use.
Enter your email address and phone number.
Enter the verification code (e.g., <code data-start="792" data-end="800">123456</code>) and submit.
You will receive an email with a verification code:

Email log-in verification number
Confirm your verification number for e-mail login and enter the verification number below.
Verification number: ●●●●●
Return to the Email/SMS login page, scroll to the bottom, and enter the verification code.
Note: On weekends and other peak times, access may be difficult, but trying multiple times may allow you to reach the reservation confirmation page.
Selecting Your Region and Embassy:
Select Northeast Asia.
Select Japan.
Choose Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan (or your desired diplomatic mission).
Click on an available date to proceed with the reservation.
If No Dates Are Available:
You may see a message such as:
"VISA personal application reservations from 2025.●.● to ●.● are fully booked.
We apologize, but those unable to make a reservation should apply through a travel agency for proxy submission."
For Non-VISA Procedures:
Close the above message by clicking "X".
Scroll to the bottom and click "Next".
You will be redirected to the date and time selection page.
Choose a date and time.
Click "Family Relationship Certificate (Marriage, Birth Certificates, etc.)".
Select one of the following options:
Issuance of Family Relationship Certificate only
Issuance of Removal from Family Registry Certificate
Available dates will be displayed for reservation.
This is the process for making a reservation via the 365 Overseas Korean Portal on the Consular Services 24 website (g4k.go.kr).
If No Desired Dates Are Available:
New reservation slots open every other Thursday at 10:00 AM, as announced on the website.
On the reservation release day, please be ready to click at any time.
